Visual Basic, a third-generation programming language known for its user-friendly interface, was first introduced by Microsoft in 1991. It reached its peak with VB 6.0 before the transition to VB.NET. This language provides an excellent starting point for beginners, offering a seamless way to develop GUI-based applications. The Visual Basic 6 Tutorial includes forty easy-to-follow lessons and numerous sample codes, making it easier to master VB programming. Additionally, Visual Basic 6 serves as the foundation for VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), the scripting language used to create macros in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and more. I have had his ebook but found that kindle makes it easy for me to read no matter what computer I am using and regardless of where I am at. Truly he takes you through the language and teaches you than surface teaching like the others do. You will learn how to go deeper and get more out of VB6. I highly recommend this kindle book

I like this style of learning. He makes the rules understandable while also showing you examples. Very glad I bought this book after looking at it online. It is very nice to have a book available while doing the programing, and to set and read in my easy chair.

I came to buy the book after reading through, and taking, the tutorials put together by Dr. Kiong at [...]. I cannot believe how fast I was able to read and understand the tutorials. There was no theory to work through. There was nothing to slow down one's understanding of the things needed to get something done. The tutorial contains actual applications of important concepts to program in VB 6. I was looking for something in particular, and I found my answer in one of the tutorials. I cannot believe no one has taken the time to create a review before me. There should be more reviews. Especially because there are almost 5 million "hits" on the tutorial website. That says something. It says that the work presented by Dr. Kiong is well worth reading and working through. Kudos to Dr. Kiong. You took the complicated and made it simple. Thank You.
